Can I use the same tile on walls and floors?

It depends, but some tiles can be used on both walls and floors. Floor tiles are usually stonger for foot traffic and some wall tiles may not be as strong. Using the same tiles on walls and floors creates a seamless look giving a clean modern finish. If in doubt check with one of the team in our tile shop in Galway or Tuam.

Are tiles good for underfloor heating?

Yes tiles are perfect for underfloor heating (UFH). Tiles made of porcelain and ceramic are one of the best conductors of heat, they transfer thermal energy efficiently. They warm up fast, distribute the heat evenly and retain the heat well lowering overall energy usage and costs.

What colour tile never goes out of style?

Neutral tiles are timeless and most likely to stay in style. Soft whites, beige and light grey tones work well as a base that can be styled differently over time with different furniture, finishes and accessories. Avoid bold and trending colours for a classic  look stick to natural finishes and simple coulours.
